The training took place at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, India last 24 July 2019. This event was organised by IITM with the cooperation of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the University of Barcelona as the project coordinator. The event counted with the participation of MIELES’ partners as well as the staff of other local institutions in the region.
The aim of this training was to share best practices on Quality Assurance (QA) especially focused on e-learning. The event started with an introductory session on QA under the NPTEL context presented by Prathap Haridoss, Professor at the IITM followed by an Introduction to ENQA and principles of quality assurance in Europe with Milja Homan, Project Officer of ENQA.
Participants also had the opportunity to share practices on QA of e-learning and discuss about the challenges with regards to national and international accreditation.
